Psalm v1 and Jeremiah v17:7-8 call us to be like trees planted by the waters—steady, green, and still bearing fruit even in dry seasons.

Good works and kind reputations cannot secure heaven. Eternal life is received when we _activate_ what Christ has done by faith, trusting in Jesus alone. The cross is not just a story to admire; it is the only way to be forgiven, made righteous, and given everlasting hope.
